Hello pretty peoples!
It's me your not so pretty author wanna conclude something or more like serving some gyaan.
Here's my 2nd story which is completely different from the first one "expected the acceptance" Before making any judgements please go through this book.
(I've unpublished the previous book as I want to complete this one first and then I'll publish the first one)
Based on your votes and comments I'll post the chapters daily!!
You're free to judge my characters
You're free to give gaalis or use slangs for my characters
(Some of them really deserve gaalis)
But degrading the author or any real life person will not be tolerated!
I'm not so fluent in English there will be lots and lots of grammatical mistakes so ignore those just like my English teacher does!
Share your opinions via comments or my chat box.
Do not compare my books with other authors I'm still a newbie.
I love reading other books too!
This book is solely based on my imagination and thinking if you find any similarities in certain parts of this story then it's totally a coincidence.
I don't appreciate stealing someone else's hardwork and naming it as mine.
If you find anything inappropriate and disturbing do let me know.
⢠the initial chapters might get cliche or boring but trust the process and go with the flow!!!
So yeah that's it!
This story is going to end with hea!!
Buh-byeee love youiu!!!

âDhin dhin dhaage tirakita⊠tu na ka ta⊠dhaage tirakita dhin naâŠâ
A soft, melodic voice echoed through the sunlit hall of Nrityadhee. Each syllable landed with rhythmic precision, weaving into the air like silk.
Nandini Rai stood barefoot on the polished wooden floor, her anklets chiming in sync with her movements.
She wasnât just dancing â she was painting emotions with her body, gliding like a feather in a gentle breeze.
There was something heartbreakingly beautiful in the way she moved. Her soul, wounded yet resilient, poured into every beat of Ektaal she uttered.
She spun gracefully, her light brown bun loosely secured, swaying with her steps.
Strands of hair framed her face, sticking slightly to her temple as she moved.
Her almond-shaped eyes shimmered like distant stars in a cold, moonless night â full of stories untold.
Her sharp nose and soft, tinted lips moved delicately as she taught the rhythm, the same lips that rarely revealed the storm beneath her calm.
To her students, she was ethereal. Gentle, graceful, and kind â a soul dipped in poetry. When she smiled, the room glowed with warmth.
Her laughter â light and musical â felt like hope in human form.
But no one truly saw the pain hidden behind that enchanting smile.
No one knew that Nandini Raiâs strength was a mask she wore too well.
A voice broke through the trance.
âShrey! Whereâs your focus? Match the beats!â
Her tone was firm but never harsh. The students respected her â not just for her skill, but for the way she made everyone feel seen.
She was their anchor.
Their favourite dance teacher.
Their Nandu Di.
And this â Nrityadhee â was her safe space. Her second life. Her sanctuary.
She had built this academy from scratch, brick by emotional brick, when the world had tried to break her.
Tomorrow, on 4th October, they would celebrate its anniversary â a milestone that meant more to her than anyone could ever understand.
As she corrected Shreyâs posture, the studio doors flung open with urgency.
Aashi â her assistant, partner-in-chaos, and best friend â came rushing in, breathless, clutching her phone.
âNandu⊠Nandu!â
Nandini turned around, concern immediately clouding her features.
âAashi? Hey, slow down. Breathe firstââ
But Aashi interrupted, panting, panic in her voice.
âNandu⊠itâs from home⊠I just got a call⊠your bhai⊠I think he met with an accidââ
She didnât get to finish. The color drained from Nandiniâs face. In a heartbeat, she sprinted forward, snatching the car keys from Aashiâs hand without a word.
âNandu! Wait!â But she was already gone.
The silver car roared to life, tires screeching as it sped out of the parking lot, vanishing beyond the horizon.
Silence followed.
Aashi stood at the entrance, watching the trail of dust settle. Then, with a devilish smile tugging at the corner of her lips, she flipped her hair and smirked â her earlier panic now replaced by something sinister.
----
Nandini gripped the steering wheel like her life depended on it, her knuckles pale, her heartbeat deafening. The car raced down the road like a bullet, matching the storm inside her chest.
Tears blurred her vision. Her breath came in shallow gasps. The world around her became a hazy smear of colors and sounds.
"BhaiâŠ" her voice cracked as she whispered to herself, prayingâdesperate.
She didnât see the truck until it was almost too late.
With a panicked jerk, she twisted the steering wheel.
The tires screeched, and the car swerved violently to the right.
A sickening crash followed as the car slammed into a roadside tree. The impact jolted her body forward, but the seatbelt yanked her back just in time.
Her head hit the headrest. Her world spun.
She sat there, stunned. Breathless.
Then, her fingers scrambled for her phone.
âParth⊠ParthâŠâ she muttered as she dialed with trembling hands.
The call rang.
Once.
Twice.
Finally, it connected.
âHeâŠhello Parth? Itâs me, Nandini. Parth, please, please comeââ
His voice cut her off, casual and unaffected.
âCalm down, baby. Iâm a little busy here. Iâll call you later, okay? Bye.â
Click.
The silence that followed was louder than any scream.
She stared at the phone in disbelief, her hands trembling, her heart breaking in real time.
Before she could fall apart, headlights flashed ahead. A car slowed down beside her, the window rolling down.
A concerned voice called out,
âAre you okay? Do yââ
Nandini rushed to the car window.
âPlease, please drop me at my home. Itâs urgent. PleaseâŠâ
The man took one look at her pale, tear-streaked face and nodded.
âOf course. Get in.â
She slid into the passenger seat, folding into herself. Her breaths were erratic.
Her body shook, but she kept wiping her tears, trying to hold herself together.
But the man didnât start the car. He leaned slightly toward her.
Her panic surged again.
No. No. Not now. Please not another problemâ
She squeezed her eyes shut.
Click.
The sound of the seatbelt locking into place made her eyes flutter open.
He had simply buckled her in.
She felt the heat of embarrassment crawl up her neck. She gave a small nod of thanks, too shaken to speak.
The man didnât ask questions. He just drove.
Twenty minutes.
For Nandini, it felt like an eternity.
She tried calling every number she could think of â home, neighbors, relatives, even her father.
Nothing.
Either no answer or unreachable.
Her anxiety grew louder than her thoughts.
Finally, the tall white gates of Rai Mansion loomed into view.
Before the car even came to a complete stop, she unbuckled and flung the door open.
âThank you,â she whispered breathlessly, not waiting for a reply as she ran toward the entrance, her footsteps echoing like her heartbeat â wild and desperate.
She didnât know what awaited her inside.
But every second felt like a lifetime.
---
Stepping inside her house she saw everything was dark lights were off.
"Nandu"
