Chapter 1

Author Note: Lian Daiyu above

The harsh winds of the desert blew past the mysterious female figure in the distance. Fresh blood kept pouring out of the person's festering wounds, from the previous battle with many high-ranked martial artists. The mysterious female staggered as her consciousness was fading, coughing out blood from her mouth.

The mysterious figure, Lian Daiyu, was a powerful figure in the cultivating world as she had the ability to cure many diseases that many healers couldn't heal. Her medical abilties were unmatched as well as her martial arts which was very strong but graceful as if her body were like a willow tree when the wind blows on it. Her musical talent is so exceptional as her music could calm godly beasts and attract many animals to her.

With her meridians blocked and her powers sealed. No tools or materials but a single sword in hand. "So, this is how I die huh?" She had no way to heal herself.

Her eyes stared into the starry night sky as tears rolled down her face. This was the end. Her life was at the brim of death until the feeling of nothing began to encapsule her body until it finally fell to the ground. Her body became nourishment for the ground and a plant was left behind, The Red Spider Lily.

No one knows the origin of the plant but legend says that the Spider Lily can only grow by the blood of a strong cultivator of the Lian Clan that has died before their destined time.

The Red Spider Lily held special medical properties, which raise you to multiple ranks and cure any disease. But no medical expert or martial art expert could find a way to harvest it without being poisoned by the Red Spider Lily. The poison is an excruciating pain because it is slow and it feels like needles stabbing into every part of the body. Victims would suffer extreme burning from the inside and extreme frostbite on the outside. The was no known antidote for this deadly poison. Only the Lian Clan's special harvesting skill could harvest the plant.

N/A:  Second Miss Tang Kuan-Yin above

In the Tang Manor, the sickly Second Miss of the Tang family had just passed away. The young, loyal maid Susu wept as the second young miss passed away, the second miss was the only person who treated her kindly.

"Young Miss... you can't leave me." Susu wept in miserably as she didn't want to serve the third miss or fourth master as they were cruel, malicious, heartless and greedy. They were greedy for the second fortune and were given a large amount of money by their father.

The second miss, Tang Kuan-Yin was a gentle, quiet, kind and caring person, unlike the other two siblings. But, she couldn't cultivate thus making her trash. But, instead, she helped people in need by buying food, clothes, and medicine. The people that living near the Tang manor loved her.

The doors of the young miss' door burst open revealing the third young miss, Tang Hua with a sinister smile. "So? The trash has finally died! Haha! That perfect for trash like her."

Susu snapped in anger and grabbed a broom, "Don't you dare insult the Second Miss!" But, instead, she was beaten up by the third Miss.

"You are useless just like your master." She laughed hysterically, "I guess it's true to the saying like master like servant. Why don't you just die like your master!" She brought a sword out from her spatial bag and brought it down towards Susu. But, the sword was stopped by the delicate hand of Tang Kuan-Yin. The face of Tang Hua turned ugly, "How is it possible? You're supposed to be dead!"

Li Daiyu wasn't in pain or the desert anymore instead, she was on a soft bed. She turned her head around, and she found a layer of soft perfect black hair laid on her shoulder and saw it was attached to her head, but her hand were smaller than a 20-year-old slim, long calloused hand from her martial art training. Confusion flooded her mind as she didn't understand why she was transmigrated into another body.

She looked through the memories of the body she inhabited. This body was the Second Miss of the Tang Manor, Tang Kuan-Yin who was kind and benevolent. She had a good heart and treated people around her kindly regardless of status. This girl was unfortunate to have died in a horrible manner of poison. It had blocked her meridians thus making her unable to cultivate and eventually killing her.

Li Daiyu turned her head to people screaming and beating each other up. The servant Susu who was loyal and hardworking was beaten up by the Third Miss, Tang Hua. Li Daiyu couldn't let this go any further once she saw the sword. Using internal energy and with her being in between the sword's destination, pushed back hard. The Third Miss stumbled backwards and her face turned ugly.

"How is it possible?" Bewilderment was evident on Tang Hua's face. There were flashes of uneasiness and confusion pasted onto her face.

"You have stepped over the line, Third Sister." Tang Kuan-Yin's face was stern which was something the previous Second Miss would have never done.

"Ha! Even if you weren't going to die today. You will still be trash!" Hua laughed, "You are undeserving of all of those valuable items father gave you." A murderous glint flashed into her eyes are her grip tightened around the hilt of her sword.

"Even if I'm trash, I'm still the Second Miss of the Tang Clan and your eldest sister." Kuan-Yin gently shook her hand. A dull pain throbbed through her hand from blocking the sword, "Leave Third Sister. I will not tolerate you hurting anyone I care about." Her condition was already terrible with the addition of having to deal with such a situation was annoying, to say the least.

"Like hell, I will! Until you give me all the things father bestowed onto you." She thrust the sword in the direction of Kuan-Yin and which she dodged. Tang Hua become more frustrated and thrust her sword toward the severely weakened Kuan-Yin who was feeling the limits of her stamina. The door opened once again but this time it was the Eldest Brother.

"Third Sister! Stop this at once!" Elder Brother was shocked, "Why would you hurt your elder sister?" He quickly came to the aid of Kuan-Yin bringing her away from danger as he managed to disarm the sword from Tang Hua's hands.

Hua was baffled as if she was wronged, "Father gave her all of high-quality medicinal plants and pills yet she can't cultivate!" She stomped her foot as she glared at Kuan-Yin who had to sit down.

The Eldest Brother stormed over and slapped Tang Hua across the face, "Father gave it to her because he knew that she would put it to good use! Unlike you and Fourth Brother so would have used it recklessly." He huffed angrily as he confiscated her weapon, "And using martial arts against you sister who can't fight against that is unforgivable. Leave and never set foot into Black Jade Wing again." His stare began emitting an aura of dominance over Tang Hua who could only back down and listen to the Eldest Brother.

Hua held the place where her Elder Brother slapped her, feeling the heat. She stormed out of the room in anger back to her own personal wing, not wanting to set foot into Kuan-Yin's Wing.

"Elder Brother I think that was too harsh in Hua." Kuan-Yin calmed her Elder Brother trying to put up the act of the soft Young Miss.

"Kuan-Yin you are too soft on Hua, your kindness could be taken advantage of and you have no means to protect yourself." Elder Brother sighed in frustration as he went to check if there were any injuries on Kuan-Yin

The two siblings walked around the Black Jade Wing just talking about things in their lives but Kuan-Yin had to divulge the conversation to have the Eldest Brother talk. They drank tea that Susu brewed not too long ago. They both had a good time. Kuan-Yin reminisced about her old life since she was the only child in her family so she never had a talk like this with anyone. It was a first for her and it felt nice to have the companion of a sibling.

"Chu Hua and I are having trouble with Hong-li. I don't know what is wrong." Soon the conversation of his troubled child came up which caused Eldest Brother to sigh in frustration.

Kuan-Yin perked up at the mention of a patient "I can have a look at what's wrong with him. I have a bit of experience with babies because of the villagers." Placing her cup down. Kuan-Yin began to prepare to go out. All the hanfu in the closet were muted in colour which suited the colour pallette that she wore back in her old life.

They both walked into his home which wasn't far. They could easily hear the cries of a young baby from the front entrance, "Chu Hua! You should be resting in bed." Eldest Brother's wife was rocking their newborn child in her arms, trying to comfort the baby. "I'm trying to comfort him but he is still crying." Chu Hua sighed in exhaustion from trying every method to get him to rest. Though she was exhausted from the restless nights her heart aches for her child who was in pain.

Just from first impression, Chu Hua was a beautiful woman. She has a slim body with a grace that could rival a swan. Despite the exhaustion, her slim oval face was emphasised by her pale complexion. Her hair was a beautiful ebony colour. Her eyes were a soft brown shade. Her lips had a soft red tint to them which was only emphasised by her contrasting complexion.

Their baby was wailing in the mother's embrace. "Can I see the baby?" Kuan-Yin asked puzzled at the baby's behaviour who was not hungry or needed a nappy change.

Chu Hua gave her baby to Kuan who began to use internal energy to examine the baby's body. A little black wiggly thing was swimming in the baby. Kuan-Yin was immediately alarmed, this creature was dangerous. "Get me needles! As thin as possible! Hurry!" This caused panic amongst the surrounding people who immediately went on a hunt for needles.

Chu Hua and Brother were frightened at my sudden outburst and rushed to find thin needles. After a couple of minutes, they brought over 100 needles. Kuan-Yin examined the needles. "Are these the thinnest ones?" Questioning whether there was anything thinner.

"Yes, they are! Is our child alright!" Chu Hua exclaimed in fright rattled by the urgency of Kuan-Yin's request.

The needles given to Kuan-Yin weren't ideal but they will do for now. She began to lay the baby upright and began using internal energy. Kuan-Yin placed needles into the baby's so that they would block the meridians. This would prevent the black worm from going anywhere.

The baby's wails were very loud which pulled at Chu Hua's heart string who was anxious and she tried to reach for her baby. But, thankfully Eldest Brother was holding her back. This little wriggly thing was hard to get rid of and it took an hour to get rid of. Seeing the worm becoming inactive Kuan-Yin took the needles out, and a black liquid seeped out of the skin of the baby. But, the liquid soon began to form back into its wiggly form.

Using a bottle from the ring space, Kuan-Yin scooped up the dangerous parasite. Seeing as the baby was out of danger Kuan-Yin's body slumped to the ground, exhausted, "Mei Mei is my little Hong alright?" Chu Hua rushed over to Hong-li, cradling him in her arms. Kuan-Yin let out an exhausted breath as sweat ran down her face, nodding.

"What is that black thing?" Brother pointed at the black thing wriggling around in the glass bottle. Concern was etched on his face questioning how Little Hong would have contracted this dangerous entity.

"This is a parasite, a dangerous one at that. Someone must have given this to your baby while you were sleeping." Kuan-Yin keenly examined the specimen in amazement, "This type of parasite is unusual but it can be lethal to any living being, slowly eating away are the host dantain by travelling through their meridians before eating away at the organs, bones and flesh. Eventually, finding a new host, but thankful Hong-li has a big dantain which will recover once he can cultivate." Kuan-Yin explained it in detail. However, Eldest Brother and Chu Hua were horrified to hear such a thing existed.

The couple soon began to bid Kuan-Yin farewell at his estate but Chu Hua stopped Kuan-Yin in her tracks. "I can't thank you enough for saving little Hong." Tears soon began pouring as the relief of her baby's safety was achieved.

Kuan-Yin was quickly shocked to see such a scene and quickly rushed to comfort her sister-in-law, "Sister-in-law it's fine we are family. Family should help one another in their time of need." Chu Hua grabbed a ring from her pocket and gave it to Kuan-Yin, "This is payment for saving little Hong's life." Though its content couldn't compare to her own. It was a gesture that mean their gratitude for saving their child.

The ring that Chu Hua gave Kuan-Yin was indeed a high-quality Interspatial Ring that would be very expensive and she was probably saving it for Hong in the future. "Sister-in-law, I can't accept this gift." Rejecting the gift politely, "But, instead, can I come over to play with little Hong now and then." Kuan-Yin laughed as she watched the couple give their utmost gratitude to her.

In the far distance, a mysterious male stood in the distance smiling at the scene of a young woman laughing with a baby. He soon faded away in the air as if he wasn't there.

The sickly Second Miss of the Tang Manor was on her bed cross-legged as she was trying to cultivate. She huffed in annoyance and plopped backwards onto her bed. "I knew it. The poison is still blocking my meridians." Frustrated out of her wit's end. To begin with, she didn't have the proper tools to aid in her detoxification process.

But being an unmarried girl Kuan-Yin had plenty of needles at her Wing. Though lacklustre in comparison to her old tools it would do the job for now. She began to disinfect the needles with fire and cooled them down with water. Using some internal force she jabbed the needles into her acupuncture points. The sheer pain made her sweat profusely. Painful couldn't even explain the level of pain that she dealing with. After a long period, Kuan-Yin released the needles from her back which fell on the bed. "Done!" She released a pained breath as she collapsed on the bed, "Susu prepare me a bath!" Asking with a weak voice.

Susu hurriedly went to fill the bath with warm water as fast as she could. She also aided the young miss into the bath witnessing a dishevelled state of her Young Miss she wanted to help the Young Miss. However, Kuan-Yin dismissed her so Susu was left waiting outside the bathroom, patiently awaiting further orders.

Kuan-Yin's skin was sickly pale but it was smooth and soft to the touch. She began to strip herself naked to soak herself in the heated water. The shock was evident on the beauty's face as she saw the water change from a clear and translucent to a murky white liquid from the poison. Her face wrinkled in disgust as the scent of the poison was pungent and sharp. She quickly called for Susu to help her dress for rest.

Kuan-Yin was changed into some beautiful but simple sleepwear. She crossed her legs on her bed, cultivating but instead, she drifted off to sleep due to the exhaustion of the detoxification of the poison in her body. She didn't know how long she had slept but she was awoken to a unique scent of the earth that had been recently been rained on. A comforting smell.

She opened her eyes to find herself in a mystical but misty field. Taking a few steps forward Kuan-Yin noticed on the side was a brownish-white rock. On it, there was a golden engraving that said: "Black Jade Sky". The engravement was messy as if the person using the tool to engrave the rock has poor craftsmanship with craving but there was golden paint that had filled the hollow part to stand out.

Looking around the area, Black Jade Sky was 2 Li wide and what was ahead was unknown due to the fog. It was rather confusing to Kuan-Yin how she got here in the first place.

"Second Miss. It's time to wake up." A small voice called out as her body was whipped out of the strange place.

Kuan-Yin's consciousness returned and her eyes were blinded by the sun. The rays of the sun penetrated through the see-through silk curtains, the wind gently blew the curtains instantly refreshing the room. Susu helped her change into a beautiful green and white hanfu with bamboo embroidery. The green emphasized her rosy cheeks and her naturally pink lips while the white emphasized her ebony black hair which flows with the wind.

A figure entered the room, a middle-aged man which had an opposing aura. "Kuan-Yin greets Father." She bowed to the middle-aged man.

Kuan-Yin quickly searched through the memories to see who this man was, Tang Li Wei, Kuan-Yin's father. He was a respected man in the South Ming Continent with many achievements throughout his life and also grew up with the Emperor. A very strong-headed person, dense and very cold but he also has a soft spot for George and Kuan-Yin.

Her father was always away from home and he was very dense towards the Stepmother, Third Sister and Fourth brother's cruel behaviour towards Kuan-Yin resulted in her untimely death. Her unfeeling eyes stare blankly at the man who stood in front of her. This shocked him since she would always happily greet him whenever he returned home but he deduced it to being away for a long time and their sparse time together.

Despite this Kuan-Yin kept her distance away as she got Susu to prepare tea and snack for the both of them, "Father am I able to do the potential test again?" She asked while sipping on Jasmine tea though slightly bitter without any sweetener.

This confused her father who didn't understand why she would want to repeat the potential test "Didn't you already do it?" He placed the cup back down on the table but it might be her way of being stubborn to see whether she would be capable to cultivate, "I don't see why not." He gave her a fatherly smile as he prepared a carriage for her.

Kuan-Yin returned a smile to her father and they left to do their own business. Changing into a black robe, Kuan-Yin rushed to the Potential Hall to find her innate level.

Innate levels are ranked :

Red and red-orange: weakest to no innate level

Yellow Orange and Yellow: still weak but a bit better than red and red-orange

Yellow-green and green: mediocre considered average

Blue-green and blue: considered innate genius

Blue-violet, violet and red-violet: considered a peerless genius

Black Gold: innate level known in legends but considered the strongest innate talent

There was also an elemental test which was to see what elements you can control. Fire, water, wind, and earth were primary elements but there were also secondary elements; ice, lightning, metal, light and dark.

An alchemist with a master robe sat on the table with an innate testing ball, bored out of his mind. There were simply no potential alchemists that had anything above green innate talents. Sitting here to test people's innate tests was the least favourite task in the Alchemist tower because there were hardly any people with strong innate talent since being an Alchemist requires such strict requirements. This job usually had no people coming to test regularly.

Kuan-Yin walked towards the man dressed as a man. Despite being dressed as a man Kuan-Yin gained many stares as she had been blessed with the looks of a god which could rival the Second Prince. The alchemist was stunned by the young boy's beauty as he had never seen someone who could rival the Second Prince and it was rare for someone of this calibre to not be unnoticed. "Name and Age." He excitedly asked as he fawned over the young boy's appearance.

Kuan-Yin immediately began to panic as she didn't prepare a fake identity beforehand, "My name is Lian Jianyu and I'm 15 years of age." The alchemist wrote down JianYu's name down on the paper in front of him. He brought out the innate talent testing ball.

The ball was quite small, "Circulate your Qi and focus it into your hand and this crystal ball." the Alchemist instructed and Jianyu did what he was told. Circulating the Qi and concentrating it in his hand the crystal began to turn red-orange. The alchemist sighed in disappointment as the results didn't look as promising as compared to the young boy. The alchemist was about to announce that he couldn't become an alchemist but the ball decided to change to yellow, green, blue and red-violet.

The alchemist was shocked in fear as the colour stopped at red-violet which was considered a peerless genius. But the ball changed colour again to the black-gold innate level. The black-gold innate talent was thought to be from legend but that was proven wrong by this young boy. His brain soon began to explode as he would need to inform the higher-ups that a talented potential Alchemist had finally appeared.

The elder quickly took the elemental ball out to test the young boy's elemental power. "Please place your hand on this ball." Jianyu placed his hand on the ball and one by one all the elements were split into eight equal pieces. The elder was so close to passing out, "Young lad come this way." He began to treat the young boy in a revered light as he guided the boy to the alchemist tower.

Many stared at the young boy's ethereal beauty as that of a deity that stepped foot in this kingdom. The elder and Jianyu walked down the hallway into a grand door that led to a roundtable of the highly respected alchemist who had gathered after receiving news of new talent. "Greeting to the grandmasters." The elder bowed toward the many respected alchemists that were discussing various unfinished concoctions and recipes whilst waiting for the talent and examiner.

Jianyu coughed out loudly to get the attention of all the grandmasters "Greetings to grandmaster." Jianyu bows in respect to the respected elders. All the elders turned toward the two people who just entered. The alchemists were perplexed to see a young boy's arrival in the roundtable conference room. They were expecting someone older.

One of the grandmasters who looked annoyed pointed at the examiner, "Master Ko why did you bring a youth into the roundtable conference room?" The grand alchemist had an air of arrogance aura snarling at Master Ko. "This is a room that needs privileges to enter." He huffed and began twirling his beard.

The examiner could only apologise out of respect for the hierarchy, "Master Chen this is of importance that needs attention." Master Ko gently took Jianyu by the arm. "This young boy has a black gold innate level and is a perfect elemental potential." This quickly garnered the attention of all the grand alchemists who immediately stared at the young boy.

All the alchemist's jaws dropped to the ground in shock at the young boy's potential talent. To prove his abilities, Jianyu walked over to the tables where there were many unfinished pills and potions recipes. The first one which he looked at was a detoxification potion that had many incorrect ingredients and portions. Though incorrect the theoretical ideology behind it proved to work. Grabbing a clean sheet of paper he wrote a new and revised version of the detoxification potion that was proved to be effective.

The quietest of the Alchemist which was at the corner walked over to look over the recipe Jianyu had written wrote. He smiled at the youth's profound knowledge of alchemy, "Boy you're young yet you have knowledge of a high-ranked Alchemist. You remind me of one of my disciples."  He smiles before sighing heavily out of grievance. This alchemist proved to be similar to his previous disciple.

Jianyu bowed in respect while sadness lingered in his grey-brown eyes. He managed to hold back the tears seeing as this alchemist was her previous alchemist teacher, "This young one was taught by a travelling female alchemist who had unfortunately died and she had left me her skills." He showed a butterfly mark on his inner wrist which was similar to the birthmark he had in his previous life.

The elder's eyes shot open in an instant. Upon hearing about a female travelling alchemist who had died tragically. He understood that the boy was indeed Daiyu. He pulled out a rose quartz tablet that had a spider lily engraving and handed it to the young boy. The other elders' jaws dropped once again because of the rose quartz. The Head Grandmaster had given the boy granted permission to restrict gardens in the sect. Granted the rose quartz tablet gave Jianyu access to restricted parts of the alchemy library and permission in the imperial palace. This had more power than most high-ranked alchemists within the sect.

This quartz had a lot of power which had equal power to the princes and princesses in the kingdom. The quartz required that it had to be given by a special oath that only the grandmaster and Lian Daiyu had created between master and pupil. Lian Daiyu having taught Jianyu meant this would be given to him. Many of the alchemists respected Lian Daiyu for her dedication to alchemy but there were a few who hated Daiyu. Her ascension to a black gold Dou Emperor at a young age when they are old and were still struck at Dou King or Dou Spirit. Many were infuriated to be overpassed by a younger person.

Once Jianyu had received the rose quartz tablet. A multitude of emotions welled up inside of him, "Junior give many thanks to elder." Jianyu knelt on one knee showing great respect to the elder. Elder Zhong took the young boy's arms and brought him up. They immediately had a fondness for each other that couldn't be understood by outsiders.

The elder chuckled feeling joyous, "Ah Boy there is no need for you to kneel before me." He stroked his beard chuckling, "It has been a while follow my young one." The elder walked out of the conference room before Jianyu gave him farewells to the other before catching up with his elder.

In the background, the other alchemist was shocked, to say the least. The head grandmaster had not laughed wholeheartedly since the death of his last and only disciple. The two people were like a grandfather and a grandson both were handsome despite the elder being old. Many alchemists wanted to be a disciple of the Grandmaster but he only accepted people who had the potential to become high-ranked alchemists. So, the requirement was difficult already since there were not many alchemists who become high-ranked alchemists.

The elder and Jianyu walked down to another room which was Elder Zhong's private room. The elder closed the door behind him, "Daiyu how is it possible? How are you alive?" The old man transformed into a much younger-looking middle-aged man with fox-like tendencies. He was a master of shape-shifting since he was a nine-tailed fox.

Jianyu hugged Elder Zhong happy to see someone familiar in this new life, "Master, when I died my soul, was transmigrated into this young girl's body." Explaining the new appearance in this part of the country. It was a lushly part of the country compared to the old deserted rural area that was known for the survival of the fittest.

Master Zhong was confused seeing as he just saw a young handsome boy, "Young girl?" Jianyu took off his disguise, revealing the appearance of a distinguishable young lady from a noble house.

Once Kuan-Yin took her hair out and took her disguise off. Master laughed again, "To think I didn't realise that you were a girl." It was a useful skill that Kuan-Yin had learnt in her past life which proved to be useful once again in this life.

In this life she wanted to honour her master for all of his teachings, "Master, this young one wants to become your disciple again." Daiyu cupped her fist and bowed towards her master, "This body needs training in alchemy, martial arts and bard skills again." Though she already knew her skillsets her current body needed the training to become what it was like in her past life. Nimble but strong.

There was a fondness on Master Zhong's face, "This old master is happy to become your master again." he laughed ruffling Kuan-Yin's hair happily as he treated her like a granddaughter. The door suddenly was knocked upon and Kuan-Yin quickly put her disguise back on to Jianyu.

Master Ko rushed into the room and cupped his hand with a fist showing respect. "Grandmaster Zhong the Second Prince has had another relapse of his Frost physique." Despite the happy reunion they quickly had to respond to such an emergency. Master Ko began guiding them to the infirmary where the Second Prince was admitted.

Both Masters and Jianyu rushed over to the infirmary to see the Second Prince. To Jianyu the second prince was by far one of the most handsome men he has seen so far. He had seen many beautiful faces in her first lifetime. But, he could see frost spreading all over the Prince's body just from speculation Jianyu could see something was inhabiting his body. It was very similar to the parasite little Hong had but it had a different constitution. It was much more deadly, vicious and much harder to deal with.

After further investigation, the parasite that was in the Second Prince's body wasn't normal. It was a gold Dou spirit level beast that feasts upon the hosts' dantain and once that is depleted then it will eat on the organs, bones and flesh and then travel to another host once it finishes. But, that wasn't all it was a Frost Parasite Worm which is common in the colder parts of the country yet they were in one of the warmer parts of the country. So, this part of the country was not adept to control such a beast as a parasite.

Jianyu had not encountered such a parasite before in his life, "Master this young one has an idea why the Second Prince is like this." But, he had heard enough stories about its treatment of it whilst travelling around the country.

Master Zhong smirked as he questioned him, "And what would be in His Majesty's body?" Though he knew that Jianyu already knew the answer it was an act to keep up to deceive the other alchemist around them.

Jianyu nodded as he understood Master Zhong's motive, "A Dou Spirit Frost parasite." Confidently answer the question without hesitation.

The same arrogant alchemist named Master Chen spoke up, "Impossible! Then how come I can't sense this parasite." He couldn't let go of the fact that this newcomer was calling all the shots despite just being at the alchemist sect for only one day all because he had potential genius talent.

Jianyu glared at him with annoyance, "The reason being you are incompetent. Your skills are higher than mine yet you can't sense a Frost parasite." Master Chen was fuming at this point, he was too embarrassed to speak from being scolded by someone wet behind the ears.

Jianyu pushed the prince's body upright to cleanse his body of the parasite. He stared at his master Master Zhong gave him a bag full of needles. He helped the prince with the circulation of his qi and warm up his body so the needles are easier to put in. The youth rapidly placed needles in acupuncture points on his back. Moments after a black liquid began to excrete from the prince's pore which soon stank up the room with a foul smell. The window had to be opened to release the foul stench as it was difficult to breathe.

Everyone was shocked by the amount of foul black liquid that was seeping out of his pores. The liquid stained the bedsheets black. People were disgusted by the scene and moved out of the room to get fresh air into their lungs. Yet, Jianyu who was the closest was struck with being drowned in the liquid and stench. Many had left but Elder Zhong, Master Chen, Master Ko and the prince's servant remained in the room.

After a while, the Prince's once sickly pale complexion had turned into a much healthier pale colour. He unconsciously spat out the same looking parasite that Hong-li had but it was plumper and more active as it was trying to find a new host. The parasite began releasing out frost to freeze a victim. But, before the parasite could find a new host Jianyu scooped the parasite into a porcelain bottle.

Despite being skilled, Jianyu came off the bed tiredly and his legs buckled underneath him. Just after one treatment, Jianyu was already exhausted. Elder Zhong caught him before he could face the plant into the ground. "The Second Prince should be able to cultivate again. He should exercise lightly to strengthen his body. Cook nutritious meals to help recover his body but also help with cultivation. Give him blood replenishing pills to help him recover from his weak state." Jianyu couldn't hold back and fainted due to exhaustion.

Elder Zhong carried the youth to his room to rest. He removed the mask and hairpin from the youth showing the ethereal beauty that was hidden underneath. A beautiful young girl with hair that was lustrous and silky, her pale skin was desired by many, her lashes were like butterflies perching on her eyes, and her lips were a peachy pink colour. He sighed as his pupil was another beauty that could conquer kingdoms.

My body was heavy, my limbs were stiff as frost spread all over my body. Each step was harder than the previous one, each breath was more desperate than the last. My servant rushed over in a panic, "Call the alchemist tower! The prince is having another relapse of his Frost physique." My vision began to spot darkness and I began to start to fall unconscious.

My consciousness was fading in and out as people rushed toward me. Voices were muffled as people were moving, the trotting of the horses and the familiar voice of the alchemists that surrounded me ever since my frost physique first appeared. It was a hopeless situation. There was nothing or no one that could cure this damned illness in the beginning. Thoughts of death soon began to accumulate which would have bought peace of mind of having to live a life of pain and suffering.

My body heat was plummeting downhill as time continued to pass as the alchemist was discussing ways to help. The last treatments the alchemist prescribed me were ineffective now, no alchemist could save me from this stupid physique that is going to stay with him for the rest of his life. They would continue to preserve his life so that they could harvest money from this illness.

The door slammed open with two new voices came into the room, one was very young probably 14 or 15 years old and the other was an old alchemist which he had never heard of. The loud argument of the alchemist began bashing against my head causing severe pain. The young one was scolding Master Chen for being incompetent for his abilities were very high yet the young boy was confident in saying he was better than him. Strangely, this boy has a unique personality. He was the only one who managed to control the room. The room was quiet so the pain was bearable, to say the least.

I felt a soft slender hand pressed against my back to make me sit upright which was slightly uncomfortable and my chi was circulating my body like a gentle stream. There was a flood of relief that soar through my body that I had never felt in so long that it bought tears. From what I had heard the thing that was causing my lifelong suffering was a parasite. All those years of suffering had disappeared just because of the appearance of a strange person. Then a hundred or more needles struck my body and the pain was very intense as if I could spit blood out. After a while, something was slowly moving up against my throat and I spat it out in disgust as it was revolting.

But, after I spat out the moving thing there was a sense of relief that coursed through my body as if I was cured for good. Soon, the pressure of the hundred needles was released and I was finally released from the hellish torture that happened. The person who was treating me was taken out of the room. I wanted to see my benefactor who had bought me out of my suffering.

After what had felt like a millennium, my eyes finally had movement in them and my eyelid finally opened to be stung by the bright rays of the sun. "Master you have finally woken up." My trusted servant, Tian Yi, sprung up into action, "Are you in pain?" He gently pulled me into the upright position so that I could sit up. I shook my head which cause tears to well in the tear ducts of my servant who was relieved to see that I was well.

Though I was cured my body was incredibly weak, "Water.." My throat and lips were parched as I had been dehydrated due to the Parasite that inhabited my body. My servant, Tian Yi poured a cup of water for me to drink. The cool liquid slid down my throat easily while soothing my dry throat. This was the first time I ever felt so comfortable in my body.

Tian Yi stood up to a simmering pot that smelled strongly of medicine which wasn't an unusual occurrence for me, "Master, the alchemist told me to make you take this medicine." Tian Yi poured the herbal liquid into a bowl. Thinking like it was like any other medicine that I had previously taken. I grabbed the bowl and drank it in one gulp, "Master you were not supposed to drink it." Tian Yi's face immediately went pale seeing that I had drained the entire bowl of medicine.

I looked at Tian Yi frightened that I might have done something that could cause more damage to myself. While Tian Yi looked worried and suddenly my body went into an excruciating pain like I never had felt before. The medicine seemed to be taking any impurities out of my bones that were left behind by the Frost Parasite. Black liquid oozed out of my pores which shocked me at how much damage the Parasite had left behind.

Tian Yi was both terrified but relieved that I was well and bought me into the bathroom to wash off the black substance that was excreted from my pores. The smell was pungent. As I was cleaning the substance off, the once clear water was stained into a charcoal colour which made me want to vomit internally. But, I held my stomach. There were clothes already prepared in advance and I changed into the robe feeling a sense of renewal.

The humiliation and the weakness I have felt ever since my cultivation had been stripped were destroyed. There was a chance to come back to the cultivation world once again. The people who have talked behind my back and humiliated me will pay me back tenfold when I come back. I decided to walk around the institute since my condition had improved. Many alchemists were rushing to classes or to their private alchemy room to experiment or perfect their recipes. It wasn't an unusual sight. The intuition was easy to navigate as I came here often due to a friendly parasite that inhabited my body for years.

Now that parasite has been taken out, I could return to resume my training. The halls were now quiet due to the absence of people talking in the hallway. Continuing to venture through the institute. I continued to walk with a sense of lightness on my feet into a water garden that had a pavilion inhabited by three people. Two males were about the same age while there was a much younger one sitting with them.

Master Ko was one of the older men while the other two were unknown to him. As I walked closer to the water pavilion I heard the voices much clearer. The two mysterious people were the people that were treating him, "Greetings to Your Majesty." Master Ko immediately noticed him and bowed to him immediately. The other followed to do the same thing as Master Ko. I took a closer look at the young male, he has a beautiful face that many women would envy. His facial feature was very feminine, his skin was white as bone, his hair was black as ebony and his lips were the colour of cerise. "Second Prince you haven't been acquainted with Elder Zhong and Lian Jianyu." Master Ko presented the two mysterious males that were sitting with him at the water pavilion.
